Advance Notice - Village Fayre Saturday July 2nd 2022

After two miserable years of enforced Covid restrictions LETWELL SUMMER FAYRE is back in business.

Our historic village street will play host to the much-loved traditional event on the afternoon of Saturday July 2nd starting at 1 pm.

The coconut shy, pot smashing stall and splat the rat - all those old favourites - will be there to enjoy. There'll be bargains galore and bric a brac a plenty and home made jams, chutneys and local produce for sale.

The street fayre has always been a wonderful family outing popular with children, parents and grandparents alike, and this year's event promises to be one of the best.

There will be home made teas in the village hall, and freshly cooked bacon butties in the bus shelter.

And for the first time this year there'll be a DOG SHOW.

It'll be a case of Scruffs rather than Crufts, and visitors are being encouraged to bring along their family pets with prizes and rosettes there to be won!

Music, as ever, will be provided throughout the afternoon by the award winning Thurcroft Brass Band.
